Whether you have a passion for history or you are looking for an enriching opportunity to be part of a community, consider becoming a volunteer. Volunteers are an integral part of our community and without the dedication of our volunteers, we would be unable to successfully safeguard Ybor City’s history for future generations.

You can join our group of dynamic and enthusiastic volunteers by:

Becoming a docent. Training is provided for museum tours and walking tours of Ybor City. No previous experience is required.

Volunteer for special projects and/or yearly fundraising events, such as the Buildings Alive! Ybor City Architecture Hop, Homeruns & History, and the Legacy Awards Brunch.

Volunteer for a summer, semester, or extended time to earn credit towards Florida Bright futures or other scholarships that require volunteer hours.

Become an intern. Join the enriching experience of Ybor City’s cultural heritage while getting experience in various areas of museum operations.
